not really guild wars related but still.. i had a virus a while back and ever since my icons have this grey shade behind them... its really annoying. just wondering if anyone knows what it is and if they can fix it. ill get screen shots of them when i get home. ty

1. Right click on My computer
2. Click properties
3. Go to advanced tab.
4. Under Perfomance click Settings Under Visual Effect Use Adjust for Best Appearance and Apply. it might be let windows chose what's best...sorry I can't remember.

-there are other options you can tinker with as well, but that should fix it.

Right-click your desktop and choose "Arrange Icons by" in the menu that appears. In the submenu, untick "Lock Web Items on Desktop".

Instead of resetting them, the option for the drop shadow on icons is called "use drop shadows for icon labels on the destkop" Its the second to last option.
